Overview
Luke Witchey is a current PhD student at Cornell. He graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 2022.
His work in German studies focuses mainly on the literature of the late 18th-early 19th centuries (primarily lyric and drama) and certain turn-of-the-century authors.
Other interests include aesthetics, literary theory and criticism, philosophies of history, religion, translation, Greco-Roman classics and their reception, as well as other literary traditions (e.g. English, French, Persian).
