Brehan Brady

Overview

Brehan Brady is native of the great state of Rhode Island and a third year Ph.D. student in the department of Germanic Studies at Cornell University. Before coming to Cornell, he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in German Studies and History at Brown University. His current research interests include examining representations of war in 19th and early 20th Century literature, and transformation, alterity, and disintegration in Austrian and German anti-war novels. In addition to his academic pursuits, Brehan has worked as an instructor with the Warrior Scholar Program at Brown and Harvard, teaching seminars on conflict in 19th Century America.
