Overview
Anna holds a B.A. in Romance Studies and History from Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany, and an M.A. in German Studies with a graduate certificate in human rights from the University of Connecticut. Before coming to Cornell, Anna worked as a German instructor at the University of Connecticut as well as at several language schools in Germany.
Her research interests include modern and contemporary literature, critical and postcolonial theory, diversity and decolonization in German Studies, as well as the politics of memory.
