Questionnaire for German Placement Test in German Studies

Note: Students with a background in German must take the placement test before enrolling in a German class.

Students with an AP score 4-5 or native speakers without a German high school
diploma (Abitur: Germany, Matura: Switzerland or Austria) should take the Advanced Placement test/ CASE.

If you are uncertain which placement test to take, contact Gunhild Lischke, Language Program Director.

I hereby authorize the Department of German Studies to post my placement test scores by my Cornell student identification number at the door of 183 Goldwin Smith Hall.
